As far as visual novel and dating sims go, Seiyuu Danshi is one of the most interesting and in-depth ones that I have played in a very long time. This is a fun game and one that has clearly had a great deal of time, effort and love put into it. One of the things that drew me to this game was that it looks like a million bucks and has people working on it that know what they are doing.

The Life Of A Voice Actor

The story of the game is that there is a voice actor called, Haato and while he wants to be a successful voice actor, this dude is very, very lazy. One day, he gets a warning that he could be kicked out of the voice acting company he is working for, lose his apartment, and have to move back home! He cannot allow this to happen so he steps up his game, tries to win a voice acting award, and if he can woo a few hunky dudes along the way so be it!

Seiyuu Danshi has a ton of charm to the story and the different characters that you come across and can strike up relationships with are awesome. There is a lot of variety here ranging from Shibusawa the guy who runs the company and who is a little older and a bit of a clean and health freak to Shiba who is a buff dude and a fellow voice actor looking to make it big.

• N.B.: For full disclosure, I backed this game on Kickstarter several years ago. Seiyuu Danshi is my favorite time management sim of 2018. Honestly that’s about all I want to write, specifically because keeping this review short would allow me to jump right back into playing it, but I suppose some elaboration is in order here.
• The first game we're going to look at, and probably my most looked forward to game, is Seiyuu Dashi. Seiyuu Danshi is an 18+ BL/Yaoi game created by the wonderful folks at Meyaoi Games. You play as Haato (or whatever you choose to name the MC) and you're a budding voice actor, working for a company.

Sexy And Chibi

The presentation of Seiyuu Danshi is flat out fantastic. The artwork here is some of the best that I have seen in a dating sim. The character models look amazing and are that fine line between cute and sexy. Each guy has their own look and design, as well as personality. One of the cool things about the game is that during the visual novel sections of the game you have this amazing artwork that looks like it is taken straight from a high-quality manga.

On the flip side of this, you have these other parts of the game where you have these chibi-style characters that you can interact with and these have a ton of charm to them and look super cute!

Living Your Best Life

One of the things that make Seiyuu Danshi really stand out is that you can play the game the way you want. You can try and become the best voice actor around where you take various jobs be it working for a video game or an anime and you can improve your stats so you can get better jobs. You can really focus on this and make it your own goal.

Or, the game will allow you to goof off and just try and bang a bunch of different dudes or try and find a special guy to hook up with. The way that you go about the game will probably be different from how I went about the game and that is awesome!

I had a whole lot of fun with Seiyuu Danshi. I was not sure what to expect when I jumped into this and while some people may think that this game is just trying to get by on its great looks. The fact of the matter is, this is a very deep game with a ton of mechanics that you have to keep track of and things to do. You have a lot of freedom to play the game any way that you want and it makes for a great game to talk to people about as your experience will probably be different.

Pros:

• This is one of the best-looking lewd games I have ever played
• As well as super stylish artwork, the game also has fun chibi artwork too
• Lots of cool dudes to chat to
• You can also talk to many different NPCs as well
• You have lots of different things to do in this game!

Cons:

• The game is gay only so no banging chicks on offer here
• It can be hard to know what to do next

3. Additional save slots: I think someone said the save files for the game were too few, well I've added some more save slots. There are 25 pages of save files now, and I hope that's enough.
4. General bug-fixes, including: 2 of Kaede's CGs not being unlocked in CG gallery despite having been shown, after Kaede's TV station it randomly jumps to restaurant, and some other bugs that I forget... ^^;

Warning: it has been reported that using old save files might make underwear function bugged out. Please keep that in mind before updating.

Good evening, I just bought the game just a little while ago. But I don’t have any voices, and if I understood correctly, I should have them?

Hey there, you can just re-download the game files. Save files will still be retained.

Mini update (still called version 10), but the files have been modified a little to add these changes:

1. Fixes a freezing bug when buying books in bookstore
2. You can now replay 'endings' via the ending list screen
